My son, Kit, who is 2, has been having a go at some of my cameras this summer! He tried out a Golden Half (half frame camera), a Superheadz Ultra Wide and Slim and even my heavy Minolta SRT 101! It was so heart-warming to see him enjoying heading out to the garden and getting “closer, closer” to his subjects.
The first 10 colour images here he took on the Golden Half camera, he’s pictured in the first 2 black and white photos using it. The Golden Half is a small plastic camera by Superheadz. It takes one picture on one half of a single frame, giving you two shots per frame and double the amount of photographs per roll! You can get one of these very easily online. I’m thinking of getting another one so that Kit has his own to use.
The last 2 colour photographs Kit took on my Minolta SRT 101. You can see him sitting on the window sill using it in the black and white photo before these. Sitting on the sill he took the picture of Kevin and his van. Pretty good sharpness considering how heavy the camera is! The second photo he took while the camera was sitting on a table.
Will have the roll of film from the Ultra Wide and Slim developed soon, once we finish it!
I absolutely love these pictures he took, I mean look at those little feet! I’m going to start a photo album for him and just hope that he continues to enjoy taking photographs as much as I do.
